Let's talk about fertility and timelines.

Fact: We are having kids later

According to the CDC*, from 2000 to 2014 in the US, the proportion of first births to women aged 30–34 rose 28% (from 16.5% to 21.1%), and first births to women aged 35 and over rose 23% (from 7.4% to 9.1%).

Why? We're busy.

We're getting degrees, building businesses, making partner, traveling, investing, dating, breaking up...and dating some more (you go girl).

But here's the thing: we're born with all the eggs we'll ever have.

As we get older, so do our eggs.

The good news.

From sleep, stress, environmental toxins and diet to medical interventions like hormone testing, ultrasounds and egg freezing (oocyte cryopreservation) - there's a lot we can do now to impact our reproductive health.
